Day Opportunities for those with Head or Brain Injury

Our Day Opportunities Service at Headway Shropshire can offer you a wide range of activities if you have an Acquired Brain Injury (Head or Brain Injury).

We can offer you support in one or more of the following areas:

• Shopping, cooking and meal-planning,
• Computing (including Learndirect courses for a charge)
• Art, craft activities and woodworking,
• Swimming trips
• Individual and team games,
• Literacy and numeracy sessions

We are open every weekday from 9.30am until 4.00pm. To attend, you should be aged over 18, have rehabilitation potential and have evidence of an Acquired Brain Injury (a non-degenerative injury occurring after birth)

This includes:

• Traumatic Head Injury
• Stroke
• Tumour/ Surgery
• Disease
