Thousands of people benefit from the support provided by Headway Shropshire and we rely on your generosity to deliver such a valuable and professional service to those affected by brain injury throughout the Shropshire area.

What your Donation Means:

By making a donation to Headway Shropshire you are enabling us to provide much needed advice and support to people with an acquired brain injury and their families.

 

This would pay for hand picked specialist and relevant information and advice to be sent to someone who has contacted us for help.

This would buy new art supplies for our clients to create paintings, sculptures and collages.

 This would pay for our Outreach Worker to go and visit someone in their home and provide them with much needed advice and support

This would allow us to keep in contact with one client for an entire year to ensure that they are not deteriorating and they are receiving the services they need.

 Shropshire is one of the largest inland counties and this makes it hard for people to get the information and advice they need. £100 would fund a local community event, such as a drop in day, in the rural areas of the county, therefore providing help to people who find it difficult to leave their local communities.

 This could pay for specialist treatment not available on the NHS to someone who could not afford it otherwise. We have a small Hardship Fund available to people with an acquired brain injury in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin and this is something we have funded in the past.

 Our Support Workers are essential to providing our clients with the help and re-ablement that they require. £1000 would fund one support worker for a whole month allowing us to provide our clients with a better standard of support.
